Seeking my Bachelors Degree | I am on my way to get my professional degree in Graphic and Media arts at Southern New Hampshire University-(SNHU) online . Basically a graphic designer. So far I have gotten all “A’s” and one “B.” I am seeking to improve my skill set in this discipline and gain more knowledge in manipulating the software involved. Primarily Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.

Adobe Illustrator is a vector-based software that is particularly useful for creating logos, icons, and illustrations. It allows for precise and scalable designs that remain sharp at any size.
InDesign is a layout and publishing software that is often used for creating print and digital documents, such as brochures, flyers, and eBooks. It has a range of layout tools to help simplify the design process.
Photoshop is a raster-based software used for photo editing, creating digital art, and graphic design. It has an extensive range of tools for retouching, compositing, and manipulating images.
Seeking my bachelors degree has been a joyous experience and quite fun at times. I love to learn.

Of course I am learning more that a real graphic designer should know. Here is a list of my classes:

  • Perspectives in the Social Science
  • Advanced Digital Graphic Design/Web
  • Designing a Brand Identity(Logos)
  • Layout and Publication Design (InDesign)
  • Designing with Data (Infographics)
  • Typography
  • Professional Practices in Graphic Design
  • Design Thinking for Graphic Designers
  • Digital Design Tools
  • Fundamentals of Design
  • Perspectives in History
  • Quantum Reason & Problem Solving
  • Multi-Channel Advertising Design

Seeking my Bachelors Degree|My Present Ambitions

I already do some work in the wild mostly with designing websites but I want to freelance as a graphic designer and have this PORTFOLIO. I presently took on an exciting position to create labels for a Butler, PA. coffee supply company. They make hot pods for the Keurig coffee machine. They love my designs but I can’t publish them yet until the pitched client takes on the white-label. They have a great office culture and I like going to work.

Logo Design

If you got this far I hope you clicked my portfolio page. What do you think? I love comments and can take peer critiques. My aspirations is to create awesome logos. Logos are sometimes literal as in a coffee bean for a coffee shop. But a more well thought logo would convey other elements. Such as the history or vision of a brand. A great design brief and conversation with the client could produce a great logo other than a coffee bean.
